Being bad has got Demi Lovato feeling good! The pop star is rumored to be dating Ryan Phillippe — and her friends are warning the brunette beauty to stay away from the "bad boy" actor.

Sources are revealing exclusively to Life & Style that Demi's friends are very worried about the romance after Ryan, 43, was spotted leaving the 25-year-old's house late one night, and it's not because of the couple's 18-year age difference. “Demi is smitten with Ryan,” says a source, “but her friends worry he’s a bad influence on her and have begged her not to date him.”

Ryan, who was previously married to Reese Witherspoon and has two kids with the Oscar-winning actress, is known for his partying ways and was recently accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt. However, he has denied the allegations that he violently threw her down the staircase at his California home.

“As a staunch advocate for the health, well-being, and equality of women, Ryan is completely devastated that these false allegations have been made and circulated,” his rep said in a statement. “Domestic violence is an incredibly serious issue and fabricated and proven false claims should not be used to unjustly slander the falsely accused. The claims are false.”

Meanwhile, Demi is celebrating five years of sobriety, and she does not care what her friends say about the blossoming relationship. “Demi and Ryan are already saying, ‘I love you,’” the source adds. “Now her friends fear it’s too late to stop this possibly very toxic relationship.”

Demi clearly has a thing for older men. She dated That 70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama, 36, for six years, until their split last year. "I think it’s healthy to be able to start over with someone else. Being sick was always a part of my relationship with him; I always had something wrong with me. I needed to let go of that,” she told Glamour. "It was hard to depart from somebody who saw everything, but it may be nice to start fresh with somebody. Because that person I was when I was a lot younger is not who I am today.”
