Shake it! DJ Snake dropped his highly anticipated music video for “Taki Taki” at the 2018 American Music Awards on Oct. 9, featuring Selena Gomez, Cardi B, and Ozuna. The squad turned up the heat while dancing on a volcanic ground as lava exploded behind them.

Cardi, 25, showed off her lyrical prowess while spitting some bilingual rhymes, changing from a red-hot ensemble to a figure-hugging black number. Rocking a sparkly green outfit, Selena, 26, also stole the show while seductively dancing in a jungle scene. Fans knew they were in for a treat after the talented artists first teased their song back in August, sharing behind-the-scenes footage from the set of their visual collaboration.

“I wanted to make a reggaetón, club record, you know? So, I sent it to Ozuna and he crushed it; I’m a big fan of Ozuna. He crushed it!” DJ Snake, 32, gushed to Billboard during his interview. “And then I wanted more females on the record—and Spanish-speaking, you know? Two queens right here. That’s what I wanted to do, and they blessed me with this greatness and dope energy. Selena and Cardi is a great combo.” Cardi also said she knew the track was destined for success, especially since she felt they were a dream team!

The video premiered during the star-studded AMAs at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where Cardi was nominated for eight awards. After securing the prize for Favorite Artist Rap/Hip-Hop, Cardi couldn’t help but awknowledge her daughter Kulture who was born in July. “I really wanna thank my daughter. And not just because she’s my daughter,” she said. “They said I wasn’t gonna make it after I had a baby.” Way to prove them wrong!
