Calm Down, Ladies: Drake Is Not Actually Dating 18-Year-Old Model Bella B Harris
Is Drake is in his feelings? On Aug. 25, 18-year-old model Bella B Harris took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with Drake and at first, nobody thought anything of it. There was no way that Mr. Champagne Papi, a well-known playboy, could have a new girlfriend, right?
Sure, the pair was all smiles in the snapshot and the caption read “no place I’d rather be” with a heart emoji, but TBH, what girl hasn’t used that Clean Bandit lyric for an Insta pic? But one month later, they started sparking dating rumors after they were allegedly spotted out together for a dinner date in Washington DC, and now sources are setting the record straight.
“There is no way at all they are dating,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly. “He’s never dated her, isn’t dating her.” The insider went on to explain that Drake simply dined with another woman who just looks a lot like the teenager.
Bella also took to Instagram to set the record straight herself. “Coming off an amazing New York fashion week, I feel I need to set the record straight… I did not dine in DC recently. I was happily working [and] dining in NYC every day,” she wrote.
The rumors started after mulitple reports claimed Drake and Bella were spotted together. On Sept. 10, Drake, 35, went on an intimate dinner date in Washington DC with a mystery woman who looked like Bella. According to Page Six, the “Nice For What” rapper and his rumored lady arrived and left separately. However, they were spotted “getting cozy” throughout their dinner. They must have had a good time, too, because the publication added that Drake and his myster woman returned again on Sept. 11, this time with friends, for another dinner date.
Naturally, rumors of their budding relationship traveled fast and now, that picture Bella posted back in August has become riddled with comments about her love life — some sweet, others, er, not so much. “Y’all so cute together! I wish you the best,” one user wrote. “What a lucky girl!” added another.
Then there were the haters: “Step away from my man, girl. You’re too young… only 18!” someone commented. “Girl, you better go and get pregnant. This isn’t going to last long!” another wrote. Looks like fans can calm down now that Bella put the rumors to rest.
