Frances Bean Cobain was not even two years old when her father, Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain committed suicide.

Two decades later, the 24-year-old daughter of Kurt and fellow rocker Courtney Love is sharing an emotional note to her late father on what would've been his 50th birthday on Instagram.

Frances Bean, who recently reconciled with her famous mom, is currently going through a messy divorce with her ex Isaiah Silva. Last year, Frances agreed to pay $12,000 a month in temporary spousal support but is adamant about protecting her father's $450 million estate.

The estranged couple is also fighting over the Nirvana frontman's guitar, which, Isaiah claims, was a gift.

Despite her touching message, Frances Bean has revealed in the past she is not a fan of her dad's music.

"I don't really like Nirvana that much. Sorry, promotional people, Universal," she told Rolling Stone. "I'm more into Mercury Rev, Oasis, Brian Jonestown Massacre. The grunge scene is not what I'm interested in."

She continued, "I was around 15 when I realized he was inescapable. Even if I was in a car and had the radio on, there's my dad. He's larger than life and our culture is obsessed with dead musicians. We love to put them on a pedestal. If Kurt had just been another guy who abandoned his family in the most awful way possible . . . But he wasn't."
