Adrien Brody ‘Madly in Love’ With Girlfriend Georgina Chapman: ‘Marriage Is on His Mind’
Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman are madly in love and in it for the long haul – as evidenced by their loved-up display at the Golden Globes – and pals are tipping them to make things official at some point in 2025, a source exclusively tells Life & Style.
“Adrien is a bit of a serial monogamist, but one thing that usually never comes up is him saying he wants to get married,” the source says, “but with Georgina, it’s different, she’s made him want to get married.”
The Pianist star, 51, has been dating Georgina, 48, for years, since the two first linked up during a dinner date in 2019. They confirmed their relationship in early 2020, and went red carpet-official at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2021 and have often appeared together on at various events since.
Before getting with the Oscar-winner, Georgina was married to disgraced studio mogul Harvey Weinstein, but split from him in 2017 after he was accused of sexual assault by hundreds of women and brought to trial for rape, though on of his convictions was overturned and a new trial is set for April. They share two children: daughter India and son Dashiell.
With Georgina’s marriage to Weinstein behind her – they finalized their divorce in 2021 – she’s now found a new romance with the A-list actor. “Adrien is the most supportive partner to Georgina,” a different insider explained to Us Weekly. “He’s never judged her for past relationships and is always empathetic and caring. He’s such a positive light.”
“They’ve been together six years and are still so madly in love, that’s been something of a revelation for him. He’s totally devoted to Georgina and not just her, to her kids as well,” the first source adds. “He loves being a step-dad, he jokes all the time that she’s totally tamed him and given his life new balance and meaning.”
While Adrien has no children of his own and is enjoying being a step-dad, there’s still a chance he can become a father one day, himself. “He’s in his 50s and Georgina is in her late 40s, but they haven’t ruled out having kids, so that’s another reason that marriage is on his mind,” the insider says.
The actor even gave his new flame a shout out while accepting the Golden Globe award at this year’s event, saying, “To my beautiful and amazing partner Georgina, your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity are a daily reminder of how to be … I would not be standing here before you if it wasn’t for you. There was a time not too long ago that I felt that this may never be a moment afforded to me again, so thank you.”
With such a powerful public display of love, the source says it’s only a matter of time until they get hitched, and it’s likely it’ll be this year. Though, “knowing how low-key Adrien is, he’s not going to want some big flashy wedding, he likes his privacy. He’ll want to run off somewhere and do it with just the kids and a few other close loved one’s present.”
