‘Tis the season! Hallmark Christmas movies have become a staple of the season. Some are cheesy, others are romantic, but all the films the network releases throughout November and December are filled to the brim with holiday cheer. In addition, big stars like Candace Cameron Bure, Chad Michael Murray and even Dolly Parton have graced the small screen.

While any Hallmark movie will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, Life & Style exclusively caught up with Candace to talk about her holiday plans IRL and what she is looking forward to in 2020. Surprisingly, that doesn’t include New Year’s resolutions.

“I don’t make New Year’s resolutions!” the 43-year-old revealed. “I’m always trying to be the best I can be and stay healthy and  and make the best choices throughout the year.”

Basically, after years of her motivation fizzling out, she has decided just to keep her goals going longterm. “I feel like if I make a resolution, it just gets checked off as, like, a fail in my life because we never keep them,” she explained. “So, I don’t make them, and again, I give myself grace when I mess up but just try to be the best I can be all year long.”

Keeping her goals intact through the ups and downs have proven to work because Candace’s body looks incredible. “I  and I do all kinds of things.  is my trainer. She lives in New York, I live in L.A. so we don’t see each other in person very often,” she noted. “And I think bodyweight [training] is really cool, too, because you don’t realize — even if you just go to do push-ups or pull-ups.” Work hard, play hard, right?

You can catch Candace and more celebs throughout the month of December on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Keep scrolling to see the schedule!
