Under his eye? Tension is brewing between Elisabeth Moss and Joseph Fiennes. At a recent event, Life & Style has learned that the frosty Handmaid’s Tale co-stars completely ignored each other! Elisabeth “was having a blast with Yvonne Strahovski and the rest of the cast, but Joseph refused to join in the fun,” an eyewitness revealed. “It was a really awkward situation. There’s clearly some kind of rivalry or clash of personalities between the two of them.”

Joseph, who’s an eighth cousin of Prince Charles, “was acting entitled and kept to himself, while Elisabeth was much more outgoing and down-to-earth,” the spy said. “Apart from filming, they don’t have much contact.”

Speaking of filming, few details have been released on the highly anticipated return of the Hulu series. That said, based on Season 1 and Season 2, there are some things we can infer about Season 3. Both the original and sophomore season were released in the US during the last week of April. Should Season 3 follow in suit, fans only have six more months to wait!

As for returning characters? Well, according to Digital Spy, it’s safe to say that Elisabeth Moss (June), Alexis Bledel (Emily), Joseph Fiennes (Commander Fred Waterford), Yvonne Strahovski (Serena Joy Waterford), OT Fagbenle (Luke), and Samira Wiley (Moira) will all be back. Of course, viewers are also dying (no pun intended) to know if Ann Dowd (Aunt Lydia) survived her attack. Thankfully, Handmaid’s showrunner, Bruce Miller, cleared things up ahead of the premiere.

“Aunt Lydia doesn’t die, [but] she’s transformed by this event. The fact that one of her girls… has literally stabbed her in the back. I think that that alters your workplace feelings on a day-to-day basis.. in her case, it makes her double down that she feels like she just wasn’t strong enough in her discipline. So she, I think, has decided it’s time to get tough,” he explained to IndieWire. Yikes! I guess this isn’t the right time to say “blessed be the fruit.”
