We’re so happy to see Ariana Grande out and about! On Oct. 2, the “God is a woman singer” put her engagement ring on full display as she exited a NYC recording studio. While this isn’t the first time that Ariana has appeared in public since the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, it is one of the first occasions that she’s smiling.

For those of you who are unaware, it has been an incredibly difficult few weeks for the 25-year-old. After Mac passed from an apparent drug overdose at just 26 years old, many of his fans began to blame Ariana for the tragedy. The pair split in May and the “Self Care” rapper seemingly struggled to come to terms with the breakup — especially after Ariana’s speedy engagement to her now fiancé, Pete Davidson

In addition to that, Ari has been suffering from anxiety and PTSD since the 2017 bombing of the UK’s Manchester Arena — where she was performing. Sources have suggested that her longtime love’s death only augmented those things. “She can’t stop crying and has panic attacks whenever she leaves the house,” a source previously told Life & Style

Judging by Ari’s outing, however, she appears to be doing better. Though, we can’t know for sure. After all, just a few short days ago, the pop star took to Twitter to share a series of deeply concerning tweets regarding her current emotional state. Her posts were so dark, in fact, that they left the internet fearing for her immediate safety. “Can I pls have on okay day. Just one. Pls,” she pleaded.

Since then, Ariana has been more active on social media and even apologized for her breakdown. “Ur angels in my life. It’s just been a tough month. I’m trying to get my work done and get back to normal and it’s hard and I’m human and tired. Sorry I let u in or worried u. I shouldn’t have tweeted. I kno better,” she explained to  a fan. Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to Ariana. We hope she gets “back to normal” soon!
