Heather Rae Young Hasn’t Met Her BF Tarek El Moussa’s Ex Christina Anstead — Despite Meeting Their Kids
While Tarek El Moussa already introduced his new girlfriend, Heather Rae Young, to his children, his lady has yet to meet his ex-wife, Christina Anstead. It turns out, they’re waiting for the right moment.
“You know, I have not met her,” the blonde beauty, 31, told Us Weekly. “Tarek and I are still new and I think, you know, when the time is right and he feels comfortable and I feel comfortable, [we’ll meet.]” Despite the fact that Tarek’s new love and former flame haven’t met yet, it doesn’t seem like it would be awkward. Heather thinks the encounter “would be a good idea.” However, she noted she plans to “leave that decision up to” her beau.
Tarek and the Christina on the Coast star, who were married for eight years, share two kids — Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3. The former couple gets along great, and Heather is aware of that. “They have a great relationship [and] friendship for the kids,” she told the outlet. “I’m all about making new friends and I think it would be fun [to get to know them.] It’d be, like, a big, happy family.”
Tarek and Christina still film Flip or Flop together, and fortunately, it doesn’t bother her that her boyfriend and his ex work so closely together. “I’m a really confident person and I’m confident in our relationship,” the Selling Sunset star told Radar. “And I think what he does and everything he has going on is so amazing. I’m fully supportive of everything.” What a cool GF!
It doesn’t come as a surprise, though, especially considering how crazy Tarek and Heather are about each other. On August 8, the father of two couldn’t help but gush about her in a sweet Instagram post. “It’s official!!!! After more than three years on my own, I’m so PROUD to say that this beautiful, sweet and talented young lady is my girlfriend!” he began his caption. “I’ll be honest and say I never thought I would meet someone special in my life after the last three years. Then, out of the blue, @heatherraeyoung walked into my life.”
