Meghan Markle Is So Adorably Excited in Behind-the-Scenes Video of Recent Charity Photo Shoot
It’s clear Meghan Markle is passionate about everything she sets her mind to! The 38-year-old took to her joint official Instagram, Royal Sussex, which she shares with husband Prince Harry, to give a behind-the-scenes look of her Smart Works charity project.
“Behind the scenes … A sneak peek at the new @SmartWorksCharity capsule collection shoot, ahead of the autumn launch,” read the clip shared on the duchess’ Instagram Story. “An initiative supporting the Smart Works collective, which will equip the women entering the workforce with the key work wear essentials they need … Coming soon.” In the videos, Meghan was greeting women with hugs, as well as working alongside the photographer. On July 31, Meg’s official Insta account revealed that she was collaborating with Smart Works for a good cause. “After quiet visits to Smart Works over the last year, The Duchess was moved by the impactful work being done by this non profit organization that helps women into the workforce, equipping them with both the skills and clothes they need to feel job-ready,” read the statement.
“Throughout her visits she noticed that while the donations were plentiful, they were also notably a combination of mismatched items and colors which weren’t always the right stylistic choices or sizes that didn’t necessarily ‘suit’ the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview,” it continued. This must be the best of both worlds for the brunette beauty considering she is all about helping others and slaying in the fashion department.
Aside from that, the Suits alum also teamed up with British Vogue as their first-ever guest editor. The issue, which hits newsstands in September, will highlight women doing noteworthy things. She worked alongside the magazine’s editor, Edward Enninful, to create “an issue of both substance and levity,” according to her editor’s letter. We can’t wait!
