Life imitating art! In the latest episode of Suits, creators decided to incorporate Meghan Markle and her royal whereabouts to make a subtle joke about former character, Rachel Zane, and we’re so here for it.

If you’re a fan of the series, you know Rachel exited the show at the end of season 7 because she moved to Seattle to start her own law firm with her husband, Mike Ross, who is played by Patrick J. Adams. In real life though, Meghan, 38, was preparing for the role of a lifetime: a duchess.

So during episode 9 of Suits, which aired on Tuesday, August 14, Mike returned to Chicago to give friends an update on his wife. When asked about her status, Mike said, “If I told you how good, you probably wouldn’t believe me.” That couldn’t be more accurate for the royal who is basically living her best life in England with Prince Harry and their son, Archie.

Afterward, Suitsofficial Twitter account posted a GIF of the scene along with the caption, “Turns out Rachel is doing REALLY well #Suits.” LOL. We wonder what Meg thinks of the cheeky joke.

One thing we do know, though, is that she never expected her life to turn out the way it did. Billy Eichner, who spoke to the former actress at the U.K. premiere of the Lion King on July 14, can attest to that.

“Meghan and I both went to college together — we were both theatre majors at Northwestern,” he said during his appearance on Today with Hoda and Jenna on Tuesday, July 23. “We didn’t know each other when we were there, but we were there at the same time,” the 40-year-old, who plays Timon in the movie, said. “In the middle of this huge royal premiere you’re looking at, right there we’re having a very casual conversation about our acting teachers at Northwestern.”

Then, Meg congratulated Billy on his success and joked about her own turnout. “And she said, ‘Well, things took a little turn,'” Billy explained. Not bad at all!
