We’re all about powerful women! While Kylie Jenner may be known as the youngest self-made billionaire, according to Forbes, Taylor Swift takes the throne for this year’s wealthiest celeb.

The 29-year-old landed the No. 1 spot on the world’s highest-paid celebrity list with a pre-tax income of $189 million. Her astounding earnings come before dropping her anticipated upcoming album, Lover. Not bad at all, Tay!

After the “Blank Space” singer, comes Kylie, who has earned $170 million in 2019 so far. The 21-year-old’s brother-in-law, Kanye West, follows in third place with an earning of $150 million.

Taylor has had quite the year so far. Recently, she opened up about not having ownership of her music catalog, which is now owned by Scooter Braun. The famous manager works alongside artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and most recently, Demi Lovato.

Tay did not hesitate to call out Scooter on his actions. “For years I asked, pleaded for a chance to own my work,” the 29-year-old wrote in a statement on her Tumblr on Sunday, June 30.

“Instead, I was given an opportunity to sign back up to Big Machine Records and ‘earn’ one album back at a time, one for every new one I turned in,” she continued. “I walked away because I knew once I signed the contract, Scott Borchetta, would sell the label, thereby selling me and my future. I had to make the excruciating choice to leave behind my past. Music I wrote on my bedroom floor and videos I dreamed up and paid for from the money I earned playing in bars, then clubs, then arenas, then stadiums.”

Unfortunately, Taylor learned Scooter purchased her masters at the same time everyone else did. “All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years,” she added.

They say success is the best form of revenge, so keep doing you, Taylor!
