Hilary Duff Hilariously Documents Her ~Relatable~ Post-Gym Meal and Proves It’s OK to Indulge
Sometimes, you just gotta treat yourself, and that’s exactly what Hilary Duff did. The 32-year-old took to her Instagram Story on Thursday, December 5, to reveal that she was getting McDonald’s right after her workout, ’cause ~why not?~
“I just left the gym and I’m very, very, hungry,” she began her video. “So, I’m in the drive thru line at McDonald’s. I’ve been thinking about it for days and I’m doin’ it. I’m just doin’ it, OK?!” The Disney alum then dropped a very interesting fun fact that will for sure make you feel less guilty if you want to grab some fast food post-exercising. “They say you have like 45 minutes to burn through whatever it is you eat after your workout, so, I’m getting McDonald’s. I’m very excited.”
Shortly after, Hilary finally got her food. “Oh sweet baby, I’ve been dreaming of you,” she said, before explaining that she doesn’t always opt for junk food post-exercising. “I normally make healthier choices after a workout, but sometimes you don’t wanna be healthy, and it feels good to be naughty every once in a while,” she concluded. It’s all about balance!
Hilary has a stunning body, and she definitely takes pride in everything it’s provided her with, including her two children — Luca and Banks. In 2017 — a year before her daughter was born — the pop star slammed trolls for criticizing her beach bod. “I’m enjoying a vacation with my son after a long season of shooting and being away from him for weeks at a time over those months,” she wrote on IG at the time. “Since websites and magazines love to share ‘celeb flaws’ — well I have them! My body has given me the greatest gift of my life: Luca, 5 years ago. I’m turning 30 in September and my body is healthy and gets me where I need to go.” Preach, girl!
Hilary has always been into working out, and it shows. In August, she got candid about getting back in shape after giving birth. “I have been working really hard to get back to my pre-baby body before Banksy turned a year!” she captioned a mirror photo at the time. “It was my goal … and I did it!” Alexa, play “What Dreams Are Made Of.”
