The wife of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner recently revealed on Instagram that she's been diagnosed with Lyme disease.

In a lengthy post, the 29-year-old urged fans to get tested and shared her own experience with the tick-borne illness.

"I was diagnosed a few days ago and have a long road ahead of me. Supposedly you get it from ticks but I have absolutely no recollection of being bit or having a rash or ANYTHING," Crystal captioned the photo of a vial of ticks. "Most importantly there are SO MANY of you carrying Lyme that don't even know you have it."

"I always thought I was a hypochondriac," she continued. "Doctors told me it was just 'stress' or 'all in my head' but I finally figured it out and you can too."
The blonde beauty is the latest celeb bringing awareness to the disease, following in the footsteps of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster and singer Avril Lavigne.
