Is Taylor Swift Performing at the Super Bowl 2025? What We Know Amid Kendrick Lamar’s Halftime Show
Taylor Swift will be attending Super Bowl LIX to support boyfriend Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs play against the Philadelphia Eagles. While Kendrick Lamar has been tapped to perform during the 2025 halftime show, fans are wondering if she will make an appearance due to their “Bad Blood” collaboration.
Is Taylor Swift Performing at the Super Bowl 2025?
Taylor and Kendrick previously collaborated on the 2015 remix of her hit “Bad Blood,” and they reunited to record it again for her October 2023 album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
Despite sharing a song together, people in Taylor’s inner circle have said it’s unlikely that she will make a surprise appearance during Kendrick’s set.
During a Super Bowl press conference on February 3, 2025, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes explained it would be difficult for Taylor to both watch the game and perform.
“As long as Trav is playing and we are in the Super Bowl, that’s going to be hard for her to do the halftime show,” he told reporters. “Hopefully Trav keeps playing and we keep making it to the Super Bowl.”
Meanwhile, Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, also weighed in on if fans could expect to see the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer perform during the Super Bowl halftime show.
“I have no idea,” Ed said when asked about Taylor potentially performing at the halftime show during the February 6, 2024, episode of Australia’s Today Show. “I haven’t talked to Taylor this week. I have no idea what her plans are. I would let her publicist talk to you about that.”
Taylor Swift Is Confirmed to Attend the 2025 Super Bowl
Fans won’t be surprised to learn that Taylor is attending the 2025 Super Bowl on February 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“I think everybody’s coming in,” Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelce, told People in an interview published on February 4, 2025, about the championship game. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends. I mean, Trav always travels like, full.”
Jason added that Travis always has a strong support system throughout the football season, and many of his friends and family spend time in a suite together watching his games. “Even when he’s in regular season mode … he’s always got a bunch of his friends there. It’s been this way his whole career,” the retired Eagles player shared. “He’s kept in touch much better with a lot of the people from our hometown. So there’s always a loaded contingency for the Kelces, wherever we’re at.”

Taylor has had an impressive career that has spanned decades, so fans will likely be surprised to learn that she has never performed at a Super Bowl.
While many fans would love to see Taylor take the stage during the halftime show, she has never publicly expressed interest in landing the gig.
