Tanner, 33, revealed his wife, also 33, gave birth to their baby on his Instagram Stories. “5:33 a.m.,” the proud dad announced the child’s birth time. “Mama and baby are doing great!” The Bachelor alum shared a photo of her newborn son snuggled in her arms a few hours after her husband’s post. “He’s here and he’s perfect,” Jade captioned the intimate image.
The Bachelor in Paradise alum announced her pregnancy in May. “HERE WE GROW AGAIN,” she wrote on a photo of herself, her husband and their children — daughter Emerson, 3, son Brooks, 15 months — alongside some ultrasound photos. “It feels so good to be able to finally talk about this pregnancy! … We are beyond happy to love another baby, to give Emmy and Brooks another sibling and to have our children be so close!” She also included the hashtags “#partyof5” and “#babynumber3.”
In July, the Bachelorette alum shared photos of his daughter crying during baby No. 3’s gender reveal after she got blue powder on her face, signifying they were having another son. “It’s a BOY!” Tanner gushed on Instagram at the time.
The longtime loves got married in 2016 after meeting on season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise the previous year. In 2017, the couple welcomed their daughter. Two years later, Jade gave birth to their older son during an emergency home birth in their master closet in July 2019.
“I’ve been still processing the shock of this all, as this was not all at what I had planned, but I am so so thankful for each person who helped bring our son into the world safely,” the Colorado native said about the harrowing experience at the time.
One week before announcing their pregnancy with baby No. 3, Tanner exclusively revealed to Life & Style his wife “definitely” wanted a third child. “I was hesitant to start, but I feel like I’m starting to lean, you know, on Jade’s camp a little bit,” he said at the time. “It feels like a lot. I want to do it soon. I want to get out of this diaper stage as quickly as possible and … take my lickings all at once. So, if we decide to, I think it will be sooner than later.”
Jade added, “It’s easy for the guy to say that, right?” Congrats to the proud parents!
