‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Couple Jade and Tanner Tolbert Welcome Baby Boy: ‘We’re Officially a Family of 4!’
One of Bachelor Nation‘s favorite couples just welcomed baby No. 2! Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert gave birth to a happy, healthy baby boy on July 30. “We are over the moon for our little guy,” Tanner told People. “He came into this world fast at 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and 20 inches long. Mom and baby boy are doing great.”
Their first child, daughter Emerson Avery, is already taking to being a big sis wonderfully. “Emmy just met her little brother — she greeted him with a kiss on the head, so I guess that means she will allow us to bring him home!” gushed Tanner. “We are officially a family of four!”
Tanner teased the impending delivery two days earlier on July 28, when he posted a photo of Emmy poking her mommy’s big tummy. “On baby watch … #anydaynow.” While the couple has yet to announce a name, Jade did offer up one possibility four days earlier on Bachelor host Chris Harrison‘s birthday.
“Happy Birthday, @chrisbharrison!” Jade wrote beside a photo of Chris pretending to catch the baby. “We feel so honored to know you as a friend and to have you be a part of our ever-growing love story. Also, I think it’s appropriate and fitting that if I go into labor on this very special day, we name our son Harrison in your honor (sorry, @tanner.tolbert 😆)!” Chris seemed into it, responding, “Harrison is a strong, presidential name!” but since the baby was born a few days later, we’re assuming Harrison isn’t on a birth certificate.
However, they also shared four names for fans to vote on on Insta Stories, and we’re betting the winner was one of those. Easton, Brooks, Reed, and Beckett were all in the running, and they’re all super cute, so we can’t wait to see which one they decide to go with!
