ExclusiveJade and Tanner Tolbert Host Epic Gender Reveal for Baby No. 2 in ‘What Now?’ Finale
Drumroll, please! Bachelor in Paradise couple Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert hosted the gender reveal for their second baby during the season finale of What Now? The web show features many other familiar faces from Bachelor Nation taking on life after reality TV. The adorable duo announced back in March that they are having a boy and fans finally get to watch the epic reveal that was planned for their friends and family.
Before knowing the gender, their inner circle was divided between team boy and team girl. Jade’s mom kept her fingers crossed for another girl because of the sweetest reason. “I told Jade I would like for it to be a girl just because I know they’ll have another one,” she admitted in Life & Style‘s exclusive clip of the episode. The 32-year-old explained, “My mom is worried if we have a boy, we’ll stop.”
The reality pair originally announced that they are expecting a boy via Instagram on March 11 and it’s so exciting to finally watch the reveal. Their new bundle of joy is due in August.
The parents already share their 21-month-old daughter, Emerson Avery, and are over-the-moon about a second child. As for their oldest, they aren’t worried about the transition of becoming a family of four. “I think she’s young enough where I think it would be an easy adjustment,” Jade divulged exclusively to Life & Style in January. “She’s very sweet, loving and cuddly, so I think she will … I mean she’s great with our dogs so I think she would be very tender with a baby. But it’s hard to say.”
The tiny tot is still a bit young to comprehend her mom’s pregnancy. “She doesn’t understand quite yet,” Jade continued. “We’ve shown her the ultrasound pics and have been talking to her about it and everything … I don’t think she will quite understand until my belly’s real big! When the baby comes home with us I’m still not sure she will quite understand.”
Congrats, you guys!
