‘Pump Rules’ Stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Spotted Arm-in-Arm at Fred Segal in West Hollywood
Married life is treating them right! Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were spotted being total cuties while attending the launch of a new Wrangler capsule collection at Fred Segal in West Hollywood on September 19. Needless to say, the newlyweds looked as happy as ever as they arrived arm-in-arm to the event in full Wrangler ~lewks~.
Believe it or not, since the Bravo TV couple got married back in late June, they’ve dealt with quite a bit of attention on their relationship, both good and bad. In fact, the 40-year-old former bartender actually dished to Life & Style exclusively about the scrutiny he’s dealt with in regards to his wedding ring, which he doesn’t always wear … for a reason.
“I don’t wear my ring at home. I never have, I never will. I don’t wear my ring to the gym. I never have, I never will. I mean, I’m just really not a big jewelry guy,” he explained while hosting the Carl’s Jr. Avocado Brunch for their new Guacamole Double Cheeseburger. “My ring is beautiful and it’s big and it’s large, so it gets in the way a lot. I don’t understand why that’s such a big deal.”
Plus, the former SUR employee felt like a lot of other married folks have similar mindsets about their jewelry. “I mean, most people I talk to don’t wear their ring at home or even at all. Unless I’m going out with my wife somewhere, unless I’m going out myself to an event or whatever like that, that’s when I wear it,” he revealed. “But no, never at home and never at the gym. And that’s all the times they’ve caught me, at the gym and at home.”
Brittany, 30, and Jax got engaged back in June 2018 — but it didn’t come easy for them. The couple had to first work through their issues after the Pump Rules OG cheated on the Kentucky native with fellow SUR employee Faith Stowers. Plus, the former flames didn’t play it safe when it came to their sexual encounter, which lead to a pregnancy scare back in season 6 of the hit show.
But the now-married couple worked on things through seasons 7 and 8, and we’ve seen quite a bit of a change in Jax from the early years to now. Seems like ~someone~ is keeping their man in check!
