After nearly three months of emotional updates regarding her son’s speech delay, Jenni “JWoww” Farley has revealed that two-year-old Greyson Mathews has been diagnosed with Autism. Speaking with Hollywood Life, the Jersey Shore star explained that while Greyson is “non-verbal,” he has been making “positive, positive” development.

“He has co-therapies [every] week, but we’re going to step it up a notch soon and get him ABA treatments, speech therapy,” she told the outlet. The 32-year-old went on to proudly detail Greyson’s many recent accomplishments. “He’s made leaps and bounds when it comes to speech,” Jenni said.

“He’s understanding words better which was his issue. Not that he couldn’t speak, but he would never know what his shoe is or if you said, ‘Greyson,’ he actually didn’t even know his name at one point until he was a little over two,” she continued. “So now that he’s understanding simple words, he’s come so far.”

JWoww then opened up about how Greyson’s development made her feel as a parent. “It was really heartbreaking and frustrating as a mom when you see other two-year-olds that are speaking and living their best life,” she said. However, Jenni made it clear that just because of his diagnosis, doesn’t mean Greyson isn’t a happy kid. “Greyson is living his best life. He just doesn’t know what you are saying!”
