Jennifer Aniston Regularly Hosts ‘Fitness Hangouts’ With Friends at Her Home Gym: ‘Very Exclusive’

Jennifer Aniston has been showing off her killer bod in home workout videos with dog Clyde by her side, but the pup’s not her only gym companion. Sources exclusively tell Life & Style she’s also holding regular “fitness hangouts” for friends, including Courteney Cox, Jeremy Renner and other health-conscious pals in her loyal squad.

“Jen’s turned her home gym into the hottest invite-only workout spot in L.A.,” the insider says. “She hosts these very exclusive wellness mornings a few times a week where her A-list friends can come and enjoy a group fitness class and feel totally at ease that no one is going to try and snap a pic or fan out over them.”

The source continues, “It’s great because there aren’t a lot of options as far as group classes for people at Jen’s level of fame, and she really does love the energy she gets from training with a bunch of other people.”

The insider adds that Jennifer, 56, “doesn’t just have famous friends” in these classes.

“People like her hairdresser and other people she’s close to are invited, too. She’s all about being inclusive,” the source notes.

As for what goes on in these sweat sessions, the insider says, “Everyone shows up early. They do yoga and then a HIIT class with top-notch instructors. It really is like going to a gym, and then after, they all then hang out for green smoothies and healthy snacks. It’s become a ritual and a real bonding experience. Courteney is there a lot, and Jeremy’s been coming more since his recovery. Clyde’s always there, lounging like the unofficial mascot.”

Back in April, Jennifer took to her Instagram to share a video of herself doing a full Pvolve workout — a full-body fitness method that combines low impact exercise with resistance equipment — while wearing a hot pink sports bra and black leggings.

The Friends actress has been a fan of Pvolve for two years now, as she revealed to Allure in January.

“I absolutely love it,” she said. “Strength training is the most important thing for women in their 50s. You lose muscle, your bones get brittle — osteoporosis. We fall down, we break a hip and that’s a wrap.”

Jennifer shared that she works out “minimum four times a week, I would say. If I’m working, sadly, sometimes I can only get in two or three, but as long as I get it in, that’s all that matters.”

As for her diet, Jennifer told Allure that she believes in the “80/20 approach.”

“Eighty percent healthy living and then 20 percent is: Go have a martini, go have your pizza and burgers and stay up late with your friends,” she explained.

Her lunches are “usually some form of vegetables and a protein,” while afternoon snacks consist of “an apple and almond butter, or popcorn,” she told Women’s Health.

Finally, Jennifer has said that she emphasizes meditation and going to bed by 10 p.m. whenever possible.

All her hard work has paid off. In an interview with TODAY.com in April, the Morning Show star said she’s “the strongest and the most in shape that I’ve ever been.”
