Jennifer Lopez Posts Sweet Tribute to Ex Marc Anthony Following His Mother’s Death
It looks like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may be some of the friendliest exes in Hollywood! Though their marriage ended in 2011, J.Lo was quick to support her former love following his mother’s tragic death just days ago.
The mother-of-two shared a snap on Instagram of her ex-husband, with whom she shares twins Emme and Max, both 9. And the adorable pic shows just how much love is still shared between the couple. Watch the video below to see what she posted:
Marc, 48, told fans about his mother’s death in a post to Instagram on Thursday, July 27. “Today at 12:10 p.m. my [family’s] hero, our rock, our protector, inspiration and now ANGEL passed away,” he wrote. “She left in peace, accompanied by all your prayers and well wishes for which we thank you all. Mami, I’m going to miss you so much!”
Jenny, 48, has talked openly about remaining close to the father of her children. And just last year, she sat down with W magazine and revealed how their relationship has changed over the years. “Marc is the father of my children, and that’s never going away,” she told the mag. “So I have to work to make things right. And that is, by far, the hardest work I do.” But even though the duo is seemingly doing well now, it wasn’t always easy.

“When my marriage ended, it was not easy to find forgiveness,” the singer, who is now dating Alex Rodriguez, admitted. “It wasn’t the dream that I had hoped for, and it would have been easier to fan the flames of resentment, disappointment, and anger.”
