“It’s good days and bad days,” the 32-year-old explained about her depression. “It depends on what happens in my day to day life. You know, if something bad happens it will trigger it to go off a little bit.” The reality star divulged in early March that she had been struggling with her mental health since getting injured during her job as an EMT.
Back in 2017, the starlet hurt herself while lifting a 450-pound patient. “I tore my whole back, and I was never the same. I still hold the job as a [Fire Department of New York] EMT,” she previously told Life & Style.
The brunette beauty got very real about her day-to-day efforts. “To have depression, it’s such an uphill battle and I feel for everyone that has it because it’s hard to have it … But, if you know how to cope with it, you have to have loved ones near you.”
“He’s great,” the Family Vacation star said about her man. “It’s not him it’s me that I get depressed. So, it’s going to affect any relationship I have with anybody around me that I love. It’s just sucky that he has to be the one to go through that and for me to take s—t out on him.”
Angelina previously told Life & Style that her relationship was strained because of her struggles. “We have been through our ups and downs. My relationship is hurting because I’m not the same right now,” she divulged. “We aren’t sexual at the moment because of my depression.” It sounds like the two are working through their issues together.
“Planning my wedding and stuff, there’s going to be reasons why people weren’t there and nobody knows about why they’re not going to be at my wedding … I want to tell people why,” the engaged celebrity revealed.
Angelina adores the open conversation she’s been able to have with her fans. “I love the fact that the fans are messaging me and telling me their stories and they message Chris and tell him their stories, as well,” she explained.
