Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick exclusively revealed to Life & Style on March 13 during WE tv’s Bridezillas Fashion Show in NYC that she relies heavily on her fiancé, Chris Larangeira, for support during her ongoing battle with depression. “It’s good days and bad days,” the 32-year-old explained about her depression. “It depends on what happens in my day to day life. You know, if something bad happens it will trigger it to go off a little bit.” The reality star divulged in early March that she had been struggling with her mental health since getting injured during her job as an EMT.

A Tragic Story
Back in 2017, the starlet hurt herself while lifting a 450-pound patient. “I tore my whole back, and I was never the same. I still hold the job as a [Fire Department of New York] EMT,” she previously told Life & Style.

She’s still reeling from the effects. She mentioned, “It’s been a struggle. I am not the same.”

“It has affected my relationship,” the MTV crooner admitted. “It has affected my work … And, it’s a lot of other stuff.”

The brunette beauty got very real about her day-to-day efforts. “To have depression, it’s such an uphill battle and I feel for everyone that has it because it’s hard to have it … But, if you know how to cope with it, you have to have loved ones near you.”

Luckily, her husband-to-be has stood by her side. “Thank God he’s someone I can lean on and stuff like that,” Angelina gushed.

“It takes a long time for it to go away and I’m trying right now to get help. But it comes and goes,” the reality babe added.

“He’s great,” the Family Vacation star said about her man. “It’s not him it’s me that I get depressed. So, it’s going to affect any relationship I have with anybody around me that I love. It’s just sucky that he has to be the one to go through that and for me to take s—t out on him.”

Chris is all in. She confessed, “He knows the deal. He knows I love him and he’s there for me and he’s such a great guy. He’s my fiancé, he’s my rock.”

Things Are Looking Up
Angelina previously told Life & Style that her relationship was strained because of her struggles. “We have been through our ups and downs. My relationship is hurting because I’m not the same right now,” she divulged. “We aren’t sexual at the moment because of my depression.” It sounds like the two are working through their issues together.

“Thank God for him because I don’t have a family really,” Angelina disclosed about her future hubby. “I have my sister, my uncle, and that’s it. I don’t talk to my mother, I don’t talk to my father.”
