The Sitch Is Hitched! ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Mike Sorrentino Marries Lauren Pesce
Gym, tan, wedding! Congratulations are in order for Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his college sweetheart Lauren Pesce. The Jersey Shore star tied the knot with his longtime love on Thursday, Nov. 1, in front of friends and family at The Legacy Castle in New Jersey.
Mike was joined by his co-stars for the highly anticipated nuptials held in Pompton Plains. Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, Angelina Pivarnick, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, and Vinny Guadagnino were all present for Mike’s big day. As if that’s not cute enough, Snooki and JWoww’s four-year-old daughters both served as flower girls for the special occasion. Ronnie’s on-again girlfriend, Jen Harley, even showed up with their precious six-month-old daughter, Ariana.
Lauren, 33, looked absolutely stunning in her form-fitting white gown and long veil. With her cascading curls and smokey makeup, she was the epitome of a princess while posing by her dashing groom. Mike, 36, was no slouch in the style department either, rocking a perfectly-tailored black suit. “We are so incredibly excited to begin our journey as husband and wife!” the newlyweds told Us Weekly. “We are each other’s best friend and together we can handle anything. Thank you to all our family, friends and fans who have supported us every step of the way. Gym, Tan, Laurens is the new GTL! With Love, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Sorrentino.”
Mike and Lauren met in a community college math class and he sweetly popped the question on Valentine’s Day during Season 2 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. On Oct. 5, it was revealed that Mike was sentenced to eight months in prison on tax evasion charges and he has until January 15, 2019 to surrender. At least the newlyweds have some time left to spend together!
