Jessie J Claps Back at Rude Body-Shamers Commenting on Her ‘Cellulite’: ‘I Know, I Own a Mirror’
Better luck next time, body-shamers! On Thursday, March 20, Jessie J took to Instagram to share a booty-ful new post of herself at the beach. Unfortunately, because social media can be the worst, the “Masterpiece” singer, 30, decided to add a little disclaimer to the snapshot to get ahead of the hate.
“Took ages to hairspray my hair like that. My shadow is my mood. Oh, and for those telling me I have cellulite. I know, I own a mirror,” the brunette beauty wrote. You tell ‘em, girl! Thankfully, Jessie’s message ended up having a positive effect.
“Your cellulite is beautiful! Be proud,” one user commented. “The best photo on Instagram. No silly airbrushing or editing. Exactly how a woman’s body should be. Beautiful!!!” added another. D’aw … it looks like there’s hope for humanity, after all.
Of course, a couple of Jessie’s loyal followers couldn’t help but comment on her new relationship with uber-hunk Channing Tatum. “Haters gonna hate, but she has an amazing voice, is a beautiful person and gets to bang Channing every night … I’ll have a bag of her cellulite to go, please,” one fan pointed out.
“Girl, if Channing thinks you’re beautiful screw what anyone thinks,” echoed another. Agreed and agreed! Although, even without an A-list boyfriend, Jessie is still one of the most dynamic women in Hollywood. She’s a proud advocate of body positivity, greater awareness for mental health issues and self-care.
Clearly, her actor beau, 38, is beyond lucky to have her and thankfully, he isn’t taking that for granted. “Channing doesn’t play the eld. He’s a one-woman guy and he’s found that woman in Jessie,” an insider recently dished to Life & Style. “He’s ready to take their relationship to the next level.”
