Remember when we all saw Joe Amabile’s dancing moves and we were like ummm, is he even going to make it to week two of Dancing with the Stars? Well, Grocery Store Joe has made it to the semi-finals and he probably is making more money than Colton Underwood, who is the next Bachelor. Wait, what?!

The star of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette franchise typically makes around $100,000, according to blogger Reality Steve. However, there have been exceptions. Former Bachelorette Emily Maynard was rumored to have made $250,000, while Ashley Hebert only made $30,000, according to Us Weekly.

Every participant on Dancing with the Stars reportedly gets paid at least $125,000 just for joining the cast. Sign us up, please? But it doesn’t stop there! Those who make it to episodes three and four earn an extra $10K in addition to their signing bonus. According to reports, the celebrities that make it to the final two episodes each season are given $50K. So, basically, if Joe takes home the Mirrorball Trophy, he could be going home with a lot of money!

Jenna Johnson, who is Joe’s partner on DWTS told Us Weekly, “The fact that Joe and I have made the semifinals is crazy amazing. This has been a very different journey for us than it has for the other couples. We’ve just very grateful for every week we have to dance together and to spend together. But the fact that people are so supportive of us and Joe specifically, I’m so proud of him for working hard. I think he deserves to be here. I just can’t believe it!” Same, Jenna, same.

Even Joe knows he’s not the greatest dancer. “I’m going to start doing some yoga,” he told Us Weekly before he starred on the reality show. He continued, “I’m very nervous. I don’t know how to dance…like, I don’t know how to dance at all. So it’s exciting!”

Well, it’s a surprise to us all then and I’m sure the money doesn’t hurt either. Right, Joe?
