Jordyn Woods Wishes She Knew ‘Not Every Friend Is Forever’ 5 Years Ago: ‘It Turns Out OK’
Lessons learned. Jordyn Woods wishes that she knew some friendships don’t last “forever” five years ago. She and her former BFF Kylie Jenner had a falling out last year after the model’s tryst with Khloé Kardashian‘s ex Tristan Thompson, but it sounds like she may have lost some other pals along the way. Since the drama has settled, the starlet has been killing it on her own path and seems to be doing A-OK with the way things have shaken out these days.
On January 2, the 22-year-old shared an illustrated photo on Instagram that was titled, “Things I needed to hear [five] years ago.” The most poignant ones that ring true for the last few years of Jordyn’s life include: “Not every friend is forever” and “It turns out OK, I promise.” Fans have seen the starlet’s inner circle shift and change lately, but she’s currently living her best life. Go, girl!
Although Jordyn has had a year full of ups and downs, specifically with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family, she’s keeping her sights set on the future. The influencer exclusively spoke with Life & Style about her goals for the new year. “Ultimately just good health, good vibes, good friends, positivity,” she revealed, while adding that everyone should be aiming for big goals. “We’re going to kick 2020’s butt — new decade, new energy … Just having a good time and being happy and having fun ultimately. Just make sure you have fun in everything you do so when you work your butt off, it doesn’t feel like work.”
She’s one of the most eligible bachelorettes in Los Angeles, but is love on her list of things to accomplish this year? “I’ve never been closed [off] to it,” she admitted. “I just haven’t been focused on it. If something happens, I’m not closed off to it, but I’m not looking for it either.” Love comes when you’re not looking for it, right?
Jordyn has her pick of A-listers, but she’s simply looking for someone who shares the same hustle as her — and a bright grin! “Good personality, good sense of humor, someone that’s driven, someone that’s passionate about what they do and someone that strives to be the best in what they do — ’cause I’m a real hard-working person so I would like someone to have the same work ethic as me so that way they understand as well my lifestyle,” she listed. “And a good sense of style — style always helps! And a nice smile! Definitely a [nice] smile.”
