As 2019 comes to an end, Jordyn Woods is reflecting on everything that’s happened and naturally, she’s setting new goals for 2020. The 22-year-old exclusively told Life & Style what she hopes the new year brings her while promoting her new movie, Sacrifice, which premiered on BET+ on December 19.

“Ultimately just good health, good vibes, good friends, positivity,” she revealed, before adding in what she thinks the new year should be like for everyone. “We’re going to kick 2020’s butt — new decade, new energy … Just having a good time and being happy and having fun ultimately. Just make sure you have fun in everything you do so when you work your butt off, it doesn’t feel like work.”

Aside from wishing 2020 goes smoothly, Jordyn is also open to dating in the new year. “I’ve never been closed [off] to it,” she said. “I just haven’t been focused on it. If something happens, I’m not closed off to it, but I’m not looking for it either.”

While she doesn’t have her eye set on anyone in particular, she does have a list of qualities she looks for in a guy. “Good personality, good sense of humor, someone that’s driven, someone that’s passionate about what they do and someone that strives to be the best in what they do — ’cause I’m a real hard-working person so I would like someone to have the same work ethic as me so that way they understand as well my lifestyle,” she listed. “And a good sense of style — style always helps! And a nice smile! Definitely a [nice] smile.”

On top of that, Jordyn hopes to book more acting roles in the new year since that’s become something she’s extremely passionate about. “I actually believe in trying everything and it was something that just kind of happened organically and I tried it out and I ended up loving it. So, it’s just part of my story — my career path,” she divulged about acting. The actress also confessed how she got the role in her new movie. “I had no lessons, no anything … I just kind of went for it and it paid off.  and now I actually just finished filming my second movie a couple weeks ago.”

You go, girl!
