Jordyn Woods ‘Laughs’ Off Her Haters: I ‘Wish Them Well’
Just laugh it off. That’s model Jordyn Woods‘ method for handling the haters. The 22-year-old bombshell spoke with Life & Style exclusively about how she deals with the unflattering and downright rude comments she tends to receive on the internet. Needless to say, she doesn’t take it personally — and we commend her for that.
“I see a lot of things that people say about me and instead of letting it get to me, I kind of just laugh about it and realize that, like I said before, whatever people are saying about you it’s most likely because they’re dealing with something in their own life that they’re unhappy with, so I just wish them well,” Jordyn revealed while promoting her starring role in Footage Films’ new thriller, Sacrifice, which premiered on BET+ on December 19.
Plus, the brunette beauty even gave advice for her fans who may be dealing with similar issues online and IRL, like body-shaming and bullying.
“Just really be yourself and be authentic to who you are, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something or you can’t wear something, or you can’t look a certain way,” she explained. “Because you control your destiny and your body and normally when someone says something negative to you, it’s a reflection of what they’re dealing with internally.”
Honestly, that’s the tea, Jordy! “So really just be you and don’t listen to what people have to say about you because people are always going to have something to say about you,” she concluded.
Not for nothing, this actress definitely puts her money where her mouth is on that front. She’s never been one to shy away from being her entire self, especially on social media. Back on December 10, she took to her Instagram Stories to show off in a bright yellow bikini during some post-workout sauna time. Days before that, she shared a full-on photo shoot in her living room featuring a sexy, laced-up bodycon dress.
