Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Will Postpone Their Wedding — but the Reason Actually Makes Sense

It was full-speed ahead for lovebirds Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin: Within days of getting engaged in early July, the pair were busy planning a small, intimate wedding, which sources told In Touch magazine would take place in Justin’s native Canada this winter. But now the couple have decided to put the brakes on getting hitched

“They’re not rushing it anymore,” says an insider. “They’re just not ready.” That was apparent on Aug. 7 when the “Sorry” singer, 24, was photographed crying uncontrollably in an NYC park while his model fiancée, 21, comforted him. He was also seen crying in public on Aug. 19 in Ontario, Canada.

Days later, when asked by photographers about the tears, Justin held up a copy of the book The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment With the Wisdom of God and said, “You’ve got good days and you’ve got bad days. It’s not real if it doesn’t have any bad days.”

Some sources close to the pair wonder if they’ll ever make it down the aisle because of Justin’s controlling ways. “He’s put Hailey on too tight of a leash. He wants her to cut off some of her friends. He was controlling with Selena Gomez, too. Hailey’s pals see the same pattern, and they think it’s a bad sign.”

As for his ex Selena? Well, she’s living her best life. Watch the video below to see how she’s thriving without Justin by her side.
