Kate Middleton and Prince William Look Dashing Leaving Kensington Palace to Meet With the U.S. President

While technically leaving Kensington Palace to go meet with the U.S. president is a royal engagement, at least Kate and Will got to dress up and get glam for it. It must be nice to take a break from their three kids, anyway.

For the most part, though, the pair spend plenty of time with their children — George, 5, Charlotte, 4, Louis, 13 months. Most recently, the parents-of-three bonded with their little ones in Kate’s RHS Chelsea Back to Nature Garden. In a video shared by the duchess and duke’s official Instagram account, George revealed he rates his mom’s garden 20 out of 10. What a sweet boy!

In the same clip, William revealed he calls Charlotte “Mignonette,” which translates to “small” or “delicate” in French. We think it’s a cute and appropriate nickname, TBH.

Parenthood doesn’t only seem to suit Kate well, but also Meghan Markle. Apparently, it has helped make their relationship stronger since it’s something they have in common. “Meghan and Kate will be spending a lot more time together,” a palace insider told Us Weekly. “Now that they’re bonding over motherhood, they’ve become closer than ever.”

Meghan, who welcomed her son on May 6, is still on maternity leave, which is why she didn’t attend the event with the rest of the royal family. Harry on the other hand, was there to represent her. What a good hubby!
