This Throwback Vid Of Katherine Schwarzenegger Picking Chris Evans Over Chris Pratt Is High-Key Awk
It looks like Katherine Schwarzenegger has always had her eye on Chris Pratt, well… sort of! In an old interview with Access Online, the author, 29, was asked which of the famous Chris’ she’d pick. It turns out, her fiancé wasn’t her first choice.
Her three options were between the following Avengers actors: Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, or Chris Evans. Katherine didn’t hesitate to say Chris Evans. Awkward! But then she immediately changed her mind and picked her now husband-to-be. “Actually, Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt’s been looking good lately, so you never know,” she said. Psychic much?! Considering the video was filmed an entire year before she even met her beau, this gives us chills.
Fast forward to now, and the American beauty is now engaged to her favorite Chris. On Sunday, Jan. 13, the Guardians of the Galaxy star took to Instagram to announce that he proposed to Katherine. “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!” he wrote as a photo caption.
They started dating in June 2018, about seven months after he and ex-wife, Anna Faris, finalized their divorce. The future newlyweds kept their relationship low-key for the most part but would occasionally get spotted out together. During a few of their outings, Chris’ son, Jack, 6, whom he shares custody with The House Bunny actress, tagged along. Luckily, this was no problem at all for Anna, because clearly, she’s the coolest ex ever. “Anna’s incredibly impressed with how amazing Katherine is with Jack and is relieved that Chris is in a relationship with a kind, loving woman,” a source previously told Life & Style.
Who doesn’t love these two together? Chris and Katherine sound like the perfect match, and based on that interview, it sounds like it was always meant to be!
