Anna Faris Reveals How Chris Pratt Told Her About His Engagement To Katherine Schwarzenegger
And the award for Chillest Exes Ever goes to… Chris Pratt and Anna Faris! On Jan. 15, the actress, 42, took to her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, to reveal how her once-hubby, 39, told her about his recent engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger. “Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night,'” she explained. “I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing.'”
Anna then responded to her former flame with an offer to be a part of his upcoming nuptials. No, we’re not kidding. “And I texted him back, ‘Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister.’” Sigh. If only every divorce could be as amicable as Anna and Chris’. The pair’s son, Jack, is definitely lucky to have such cool parents.
The Mom star followed up her sweet anecdote by praising the newly-engaged couple. “I knew that it was going to happen,” Anna admitted. “I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other.”
We know what you may be thinking, “How TF is this possible?” Well, believe it, people, because the blonde beauty made it clear that everything in their little modern family is A-OK. “The truth is there isn’t any bitterness and I’m just so happy we’re all really happy.”
Happy, indeed! Chris’ announcement on Instagram about his author fiancée, 29, was as sweet as can be. “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!” the Avengers actor wrote. Of course, Katherine shared an adorable message of her own. “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.” We can’t wait to get more details on their upcoming wedding. Congratulations again, you two!
