Doting Daughters!Kendall and Kylie Jenner Volunteer to Care for Grandma MJ So Their Mom Can Have ‘More Free Time’
That’s what family is for! Kendall and Kylie Jenner graciously offered to help their mom, Kris, take care of grandma MJ (real name Mary Jo Houghton) and it was the sweetest moment. The clip from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians proves that the famous family sticks together through it all.
In the video, Kris, 63, is seen having lunch with her youngest daughters when Kendall, 23, picked up her phone to call MJ, 84. “I just wanted to tell you that Kylie and I took my mom so she could relax and if you need anything, you can text me and Kylie because we’re with her,” she explained to give her grandma a heads up of their plans for the day. MJ seemed happy to hear from the model and relieved that Kris is out having a little fun.
“I don’t know, I just feel like I have to be on call,” the momager confessed to her gorgeous girls. The youngest Kar-Jenner kids have obviously noticed the toll that caring for MJ has taken and wanted to help lighten the load. Kendall then proposed, “So, Kylie and I have been talking and we decided that we will trade you MJ duties so that you can have more free time. Give you some time to breathe.” Kylie, 21, also chimed in, “I would love to spend more time with MJ.”
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul acknowledged in a private interview, “My mom is really concerned about her mom right now because MJ … has her weak moments.” She continued, “As selfless as she is, I really just want to give my mom some time to wind down and relax and think about herself for once.”
It turns out, Kris is happy for the help. The mom-of-six admitted, “I mean, I’m not going to lie, it would be really great to have a little bit of support in that area … I sometimes don’t know what to do with her because she doesn’t feel like going out but if she has more visitors that would be really terrific for her.” The reality mom also noted, “She would love to have you guys around. That would make me feel so much better.”
Kylie promised, “Yeah, we’ll be there.” This family isn’t going anywhere!
