Kensington Palace Shares Sweet New Photos Ahead of Prince George’s 6th Birthday!
That’s one happy (almost) 6-year-old! Kensington Palace and their official Instagram page shared a brand new photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s oldest son, Prince George, in honor of his sixth birthday on July 22.
“Happy Birthday Prince George!” the royal social media account started their caption on three sweet photos of the laughing boy posted on July 21. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s sixth birthday.”
It is customary for the royal children to have a photoshoot for their birthdays. Most recently, George’s little brother, Prince Louis, had his own adorable photoshoot for his first birthday back in April.
“This photograph was taken recently in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace by The Duchess of Cambridge,” the caption on George’s photo set revealed. Clearly, the 37-year-old duchess is pretty great with a camera. Such beautiful shots.
The royals even added a thank you to their fans and followers for all of little George’s well wishes and birthday love. “Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages!” the family closed out their sweet Instagram post.
According to Us Weekly, George’s mom and dad plan on throwing the big boy an epic birthday bash fit for a Prince.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have gone all out to organize a birthday party for George,” an insider revealed to the outlet, with Kate having “done most of the organizing herself.” Wills also had a great idea for the party, his own personal contribution to the festivities.
“George loves magic,” the source continued, who also revealed the royals hired a magician — all on William’s suggestion. The epic party will take place at Kensington Palace with George’s school friends being mystified by magic and also getting their jump on in a bouncy castle.
Seems like the best sixth birthday ever.
