Khloé Kardashian Seemingly Hints That She And Tristan Thompson Are Headed For Splitsville
We smell trouble in paradise, y’all! On Aug. 30, Khloé Kardashian took to Instagram to seemingly hint that she and her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, are headed for splitsville. The newly-minted mama shared a number of iTunes screenshots on her IG story and let’s just say… she wasn’t exactly listening to happy-go-lucky love songs.
First up: Patti LaBelle’s “On My Own.” The name of the song in and of itself suggests Koko may be gearing up to ride solo. After all, her relationship with the pro-baller hasn’t exactly been a fairytale. No shade to their parenting skills, but the couple’s baby girl, True Thompson, was born on the heels of her daddy’s cheating scandal. So, we wouldn’t blame Khloé for wanting to be on her own.
If the title of the tune isn’t enough to convince you, then the damning lyrics will definitely do the trick. “So many promises never should be spoken/Now I know what loving you cost/Now we’re up to talking divorce/And we weren’t even married/On my own/Once again now/One more time/By myself.”
Khloé, girl, if you thought you were being sneaky — you failed! Those lyrics scream “I’m breaking up with my man.” In addition to “On My Own,” Koko also shared a screenshot of Amerie’s “All I Have.” Once again, the lyrics speak for themselves.
“You said that we’d forever be in love/And you showed me life like I never knew/Things I never even dreamed of/But your smile just don’t seem the same/And when you tell me you feel it too/I’m not sure who’s to blame/Cause I gave everything.”
Yikes! Those lyrics might be even more compelling than the first track. Here’s hoping that the Good American mogul was just in a somber mood. For the sake of little True, we hope her mama and daddy are in it for the long haul. If not, at least we know Khloé will have an epic breakup playlist.
