Kourtney Kardashian Says She Tries to Be ‘Present’ With Her Kids and ‘Not Be on My Phone’: ‘It’s Important’
What a great mama! Kourtney Kardashian loves to bond with her children, which is why she makes sure they always come first.
“I always try my absolute best when I’m with my kids not to be on my phone, to be present in what we’re doing, and have those moments where you’re looking in each other’s eyes and connecting. It’s so important,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 41, told Vogue Arabia in an interview published on July 7.
Kourt, who shares Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 5, with ex Scott Disick, enjoys spending time with her kids. She even dedicates a whole day on giving them special attention.
“I usually take one day on the weekend when we have no plans, we hang out at the house in pajamas or sweats,” she revealed. “We sleep in. I like to not be on a schedule on that day.”
These days, Kourtney is doing everything in her power to make herself happy, which is why she decided to not appear on KUWTK anymore. In fact, she confessed the show was making her feel “unfulfilled.”
“It became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was,” the Poosh.com founder divulged. “Privacy is something I have come to value and finding that balance of private moments with being on a reality show is hard. People have this misconception that I don’t want to work, which isn’t true. I am following my happiness and putting my energy into that which makes me happy.”
Something else that seems to bring Kourt joy is spending family time with Scott. The two have become closer after his split from ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie. Even their children are happy to see them bonding and would “love” for them to “get back together,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. However, their relationship seems to only be friendly.
“That’s not in the cards for them. Not right now, anyway,” an insider told In Touch about a romantic reconciliation. “There’s a lot of water under the bridge, and while Kourtney loves having Scott around the kids more, she’s not about dating him again.”
