Kourtney Kardashian Thinks of Scott Disick’s Girlfriend Sofia Richie as ‘a Part of the Family’
The perfect addition! Kourtney Kardashian is totally cool with Sofia Richie, a source confirmed to Us Weekly. The insider said the reality star is happy for her ex Scott Disick and his girlfriend, and even thinks the 21-year-old is good for him.
“Kourtney thinks Sofia brings out the best in Scott and is happy for them,” the insider said, adding, “Kourtney and Sofia share a common background and lifestyle, and Sofia is easy to get along with and is a normal girl.”
And Kourtney, 40, isn’t the only one of the Kardashian-Jenner family that Sofia gets along with. The insider noted that the whole clan has accepted the model into their brood. “Everything is positive with Sofia and Kourtney right now,” the source noted, “The family is in a really good place right now and everyone views Sofia as being part of the family. Sofia is integrated into their lives and they’re closer than ever before.”
Kourtney and Scott, 36, dated for nearly a decade before they called it quits in 2015. Two years later, Scott and Sofia sparked dating rumors, and they’ve been together ever since. Now that it’s clear she’s sticking around, Kourtney has gotten more comfortable with the blonde beauty hanging around her kids — Mason, 9, Penelope, 7 and Reign, 4 — whom she shares with Scott. In fact, Scott, Kourtney and Sofia all vacationed together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico back in December 2018. “Scott and Kourtney realize it looks weird from an outside perspective that they have stayed so close as exes, but it works for them,” the source continued, “Kourtney and Scott are coparenting in a great way.”
Even though the 40-year-old and Sof have a healthy relationship, another source told Life & Style back in August that Kourt still gets a little uncomfortable by the close quarters, since Sofia has become very good friends with Kourtney’s little sister, Kylie Jenner. “Kourtney likes Sofia, but Scott is her ex and the father of her kids, so sometimes she feels that there should be healthier boundaries,” the source disclosed. “If Scott were to marry Sofia then that would be different. Maybe Kourtney is just feeling a little insecure because her kids love Sofia and now Kylie and Sofia are super tight,” the insider added.
All in all, we have never seen exes coparent so well and embrace their new significant others! Keeping breaking the mold, you guys!
