Just because Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are exemplary coparents, doesn’t mean that their situation is perfect. After all, the Flip It Like Disick star, 36, is in a serious relationship with Sofia Richie, who ICYMI, happens to be Kylie Jenner’s newest bestie. Can you say awkward?
“Kourtney likes Sofia, but Scott is her ex and the father of her kids, so sometimes she feels that there should be healthier boundaries,” a source told Life & Style exclusively. “If Scott were to marry Sofia then that would be different. Maybe Kourtney is just feeling a little insecure because her kids love Sofia and now Kylie and Sofia are super tight,” the insider expressed.
Super tight, indeed! Not only did Sofia, 20, attend Kylie’s epic Kylie Skin girls’ trip, but the pair is also constantly gushing over each other on social media. As uncomfortable as Kourtney, 40, might feel over their friendship, Scott is loving it!
“Scott is really happy that Sofia and Kylie have become so close again because it means that Sofia has been further accepted in the family,” a source previously dished to Us Weekly. Why is it so important that the family accepts Sofia, you ask? Well, because the longtime couple is thinking of taking things to the next level.
Scott and Sofia have “talked seriously about getting engaged,” a second insider told Us. “As it is now, they look at each other as life partners.” Hmmm, well, with Sofia’s 21st birthday coming up on August 24, we couldn’t think of a better time for Scott to pop the question.
Here’s hoping Kourtney gets over any reservations she may have by then and that Kylie is willing to be a bridesmaid!
