While Kris Jenner just welcomed her eighth grandchild — Stormi Webster — into the world, don't think for one second the baby will call the Kardashian/Jenner matriarch by the name "Grandma." The 62-year-old actually prefers "Lovey" which is what Mason, 8, Penelope, 5, North, 4, Reign, 3, Saint, 2, and Dream, 1, all call her.

During an interview in 2013, Kris explained why she decided to ditch the "Grandma" moniker, "At first I was Grandma, and all of a sudden I didn't like the way that sounded, my mom had a friend called Lovey and I thought that was the cutest name."

With Kris' alternative name set in stone, it's expected that Stormi — along with Chicago West and Khloé Kardashian's daughter — will follow suit. But don't expect Lovey to give away any specific details about her grandchildren, as she will only disclose that Kylie Jenner's newborn is "happy and healthy" at the moment.

The beauty mogul confirmed her pregnancy on Feb. 4, 2018, and Kris is finally opening up about how she — as a mother and grandmother — was able to keep this secret under wraps for so long. At the grand opening of Nassif MD Medical Spa, she said, "You just have to go with the flow. The family pact is don't say a word so my lips were sealed."

And they still are! Questioned about who will give her the next grandchild, Kris said, "I'm not even going to try to answer that question! I don't know. I don't even get into the who's gonna have a baby question because I'm only going to get myself into trouble by the time I get home." While the Kardashian/Jenner family might always be growing and changing, one thing is constant — they keep their mouths shut.
