Kristin Cavallari Shoots Her Shot With Kevin Costner After Confirming She’s ‘Single’: ‘Forever Crush’
Kristin Cavallari is back on the market and has her eye on Kevin Costner. The former reality star answered fan questions on her Instagram Story on Sunday, December 15, and responded to one who asked her, “Can you just go on date with Kevin Costner already?!”
In response, Kristin, 37, made it clear that she was interested in the Yellowstone alum, 69, despite their 32-year age difference. “Give him my number,” she wrote. “Forever crush.”
Kristin hasn’t let age affect her relationships in the past. Her last boyfriend, Mark Estes, was 13 years her junior, although the two broke up in September after seven months together. In her Q&A, Kristin confirmed that she was single and “ready to mingle” now that the relationship is over.
She also addressed another Instagram user who asked her if she’d ever date a “regular guy” in the future. “I’ve gone on dates with ‘regular’ guys,” Kristin confirmed. “I would actually prefer someone not in entertainment. I said that months ago and I’ve been pretty good about sticking to that.”
The Laguna Beach alum has not been romantically linked to anyone since her split from Mark, 24. However, she was seen hanging out with the TikTok star at a bar in Nashville in November. The two appear to have remained amicable since the split.
“I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it’s not right,” Kristin explained on her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast in November. “It’s not because of love lost or something bad happened. No one cheated. No one was mean. No one did anything. And those breakups are always the hardest, I think, because it’s almost easier if the guy does something that makes you hate him and it’s like, ‘F–k that guy, I want him out of my life forever.’ Mark didn’t do anything.”
Meanwhile, Kevin has been single and one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors since his split from Christine Baumgartner in 2023. The exes tied the knot in 2004, but she filed for divorce 19 years later. Their split was finalized in February after a bit of a messy legal battle.
Kristin shares three children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, while Kevin has seven children of his own. The former MTV star previously said that she’s done having kids, and although she briefly considered having another child if things worked out with Mark, she changed her tune again after the breakup.
“You wanna know what else is a deal breaker for me. I want someone who’s had a vasectomy,” Kristin said on her podcast in November. “I don’t have to worry about any of that s–t.” However, she said she’d be fine with someone who already had kids. “Ideally, his kids would be a little bit older, so I don’t really have to deal with the day-to-day. Because I was like, ‘I can’t have a Brady Bunch.’”
During the same episode, she admitted that she’s not looking for someone to slide into her DMs like Mark did. “It attracts the wrong type of guy, fair to say,” she admitted.
