Kristin Cavallari Says She Wants Her Next Boyfriend to Be ‘Someone Who’s Had a Vasectomy’
Kristin Cavallari is positive that she’s done having children. The former reality star shared that she had no desire to expand her family with any future boyfriends after her recent split from Mark Estes.
“You wanna know what else is a deal breaker for me?” Kristin, 37, said during the Tuesday, November 5, episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “I want someone who’s had a vasectomy. I don’t have to worry about any of that s–t.”
The Laguna Beach alum added that she recognized that a man who had already had a vasectomy was likely already a dad, but she didn’t take issue with that.
“Ideally, his kids would be a little bit older, so I don’t really have to deal with the day-to-day. Because I was like, ‘I can’t have a Brady Bunch,’” Kristin explained.
Along with vasectomies, Kristin was adamant that her next boyfriend would be someone older and admitted that she wanted a partner she could “learn and grow” from. Kristin was 13 years older than Mark, 24, and that’s a path she doesn’t want to go down again.
Plus, if any eligible men from Hollywood had their eyes on the former Hills star, they’re going to be sorely disappointed – because she stated she was “not looking to date anyone in entertainment.”
Kristin also shared that she wanted her next relationship to happen organically.
“I will never date anyone from the DMs ever again,” Kristin said to her podcast guest and longtime friend Justin Anderson. “It attracts the wrong type of guy, fair to say.”

When Justin asked how she planned on meeting her future husband, she explained she wanted to “meet them in real life.”
In an October episode of “Let’s Be Honest,” Kristin addressed her split from Mark in September and said that she had “no interest in getting back into the dating world right now.”
“I also don’t know how much time I have for dating. When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids and that’s changed,” Kristin continued. “So I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and my work. Happiness for me is peace and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it. I’m a homebody. I really am. Being home and cooking and having friends over, those things make me happy. Beyond that, I don’t really have a lot of time for anything else.”
Kristin began dating former NFL star Jay Cutler in 2010 and the couple tied the knot three years later. However, Kristin hinted at potential trouble in her marriage when she sat down with In Touch in 2019.
“Six years is great, but honestly, marriage is ups and downs. It is. I think anybody who says it’s not and it’s easy is lying,” Kristin said at the time. “It’s hard work and every day is a choice. You commit to somebody and you have to love them during the good times and the bad times.”
The following year, Kristin and Jay, 41, announced they were calling it quits in 2020.
