From lip kits to baby clothes, Kylie Jenner‘s life just flipped upside down with the arrival of her daughter on Feb. 1. While the youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner family has yet to release the highly-anticipated name of her baby, she’s reportedly a natural at the whole parenting thing. Her mom, Kris Jenner, spoke with People magazine at the Rachel Zoe Collection Presentation dinner and revealed, “She’s amazing. An amazing mom.”

After months of speculation, Kylie finally confirmed rumors with a compilation video titled, “To Our Daughter,” documenting the last nine months of her life. Kylie’s 25-year-old baby daddy, Travis Scott, took to Twitter right after the big announcement was made and wrote his own tribute to his new baby girl. “2.1.18. 4 ever. New rager in town. !!!”

With the emotional video footage finally out there, and both Kylie and Travis verbally confirming the news, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch couldn’t help but express how exciting this time is for their entire family. Kris said, “I was bawling! I was crying so hard, especially at the end. And I still cried. It’s a whole other dimension of love and family, and feeling so lucky to be where we are today. It’s really an exciting time.”

As for what Kris hopes for her kids and their new families, her wish is pretty simple: “Any mom just wants her family to be happy, healthy, peaceful, joyful and that’s my joy. They’re my heart!” Taking her momager’s advice, Kylie explained to fans why the decision to keep her pregnancy private during this journey was the right one.

She said, “I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.” While we may not have been able to follow Kylie’s pregnancy in real time, she didn’t forget to document the whole thing behind-the-scenes. And yes, that means there are enough baby bump selfies to go around!
