There’s never a dull moment in the beauty community! Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, June 13, Kylie Jenner uploaded a clip unboxing Jaclyn Hill’s new collection of lipsticks. During the video, the KUWTK star, 21, said she “can’t wait” to try the product. Kylie also called the packaging “magical.”

Considering Jaclyn, 28, has been dealing with extreme customer backlash ever since launching her line on May 30, it’s incredibly kind of Kylie to support her fellow beauty guru. However, there’s a major plot twist. Less than 20 minutes after uploading the video, Kylie removed it from the ‘Gram. Thankfully, screengrabs are forever.

Seeing as Kylie has 137 million followers, we certainly weren’t the only people to catch a glimpse of her shout out. “I think Kylie Jenner lives under a rock after posting that Jaclyn Hill PR box. Ok, girl, promote those germs,” one user wrote on Twitter. “Girl, I know you ain’t [about to] put those dirty Jaclyn Hill lipsticks on your expensive ass lips,” added another.

To be honest, we find it hard to believe that Kylie had no idea about the controversy surrounding Jaclyn’s lipsticks. After all, just hours before she posted the Instagram Story, Jaclyn uploaded a YouTube video explaining the situation. “The first thing I want to address before anything else is the accusations that my lipsticks are expired, moldy or hazardous in any way, shape or form,” Jaclyn began.

“My lipsticks are not moldy, they are not contaminated, they are not unsafe for you in any way shape or form,” she assured, along with showing viewers the laboratory report. “Every single ingredient in my lipsticks is new and FDA approved.”

Hmmm, as sincere as Jaclyn sounded, perhaps Kylie wasn’t buying it and decided to renege on her support … or she just accidentally deleted the Instagram Story. *Kanye shrug*
