Kylie Kelce ‘Appreciates’ Taylor Swift, Says the Singer Makes Travis Kelce ‘Happy’
Kylie Kelce opened up about her friendship with Taylor Swift, and gushed that the “Shake It Off” singer makes Travis Kelce “happy.”
During the Thursday, February 20, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast, Kylie, 32, reflected on misleading headlines that were published following her February 12 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. After Kylie seemingly said that she didn’t eat food prepared by Taylor, 35, she explained that she saw news stories appearing to pit them against each other.
“Why are we trying to pit women against women? Why we doing that? That seems dumb and counterproductive,” Kylie said before sharing more insight into her friendship with Taylor. “Anyone that asks me in person, I am very forthcoming about how much I love and appreciate her and the fact that I love that you can tell how happy Travis is and that’s what I care about.”
In addition to urging others to “not pit women against women,” Kylie also clarified her comments made on “Call Her Daddy.” During the latest episode of “Not Gonna Lie,” the mother of three said there was a “bit of confusion” after she told host Alex Cooper that she couldn’t eat a home-cooked meal during a double date with Taylor, Travis, 35, and her husband, Jason Kelce. She said she had no appetite due to morning sickness amid her pregnancy with baby No. 4.
Kylie explained on her own podcast that the meal she told Alex, 30, about was a “private dinner” prepared by “an outstanding chef,” not by Taylor.
“The home-cooked meals that I did not get to enjoy were not because I refused to eat them, but because the child in my womb overwhelmed me with hormones that suggested that if I consume anything other than crackers that it might be seen again if you catch my drift,” she explained.
Kylie continued, “Anyone that has experienced pregnancy nausea knows that it’s not a choice. At eight weeks, that’s not a choice.”
“I’ve known women who’ve lived on only waffles for their entire first trimester. There are women who can only stomach cereal or crackers or pretzels,” she went on to explain. “And you know what? Sometimes that’s me.”
After insisting that she “didn’t refuse anything” made by Taylor, Kylie added that the “Enchanted” singer made “Funfetti pancakes” that she was able to enjoy. “They hit. They were so good,” she said of the dish. “Baby liked them, I loved them. They were very, very good.”
Kylie and Taylor have gotten to know each other well amid the “Cardigan” singer’s romance with Travis.

Also during her “Call Her Daddy” appearance, Kylie revealed how she learned that her brother-in-law was dating Taylor. “I will say, we knew before everyone else knew but it was not, like … it did not hit the group chat,” she shared of how she and Jason, 37, first heard the news.
“Jase and I found out together, but we knew before they hard launched with her going to a game,” Kylie continued, referring to when Taylor publicly confirmed their romance by attending a Kansas City Chiefs against the Chicago Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, 2023.
