ExclusiveLauren Hamilton Reacts to Biggest ‘Love Is Blind’ Scandals Over the Years: ‘Hot Mess’
Lauren Speed-Hamilton keeps up on Love Is Blind after marrying husband Cameron Hamilton during season 1, and she exclusively reacts to the scandals that have since occurred on the show with Life & Style.
“You know what, I have not watched [season 7] in its entirety, but I feel like being online, I don’t miss a beat, honey, OK?” Lauren, 37, tells Life & Style. “Because they have everything online, all the tea, all the who did what, said what, who’s the villain, who people love. So, I don’t feel like I miss a beat. It’s all online.”

Lauren, who cohosts the limited “Life In Drive” podcast in partnership with Kelley Blue Book, also dished on season 7 star Tyler Francis’ paternity scandal – and she says it was a “hot mess.”
“I mean, anybody who denies their children when they have Christmas portraits with them, these aren’t your kids, but you spend time with them and you are denying them just to be on this television show?” Lauren continues. “Your kids are going to grow up and see this and it is not going to be good for you, man.”
She continued, “So it’s like, oh, Love Is Blind. Come on, y’all didn’t know this man had three kids? I don’t know. It seems unfair. But then again, Ashley [Adionser], she decided to move on with it. So, who’s really to blame there? But it was a hot mess.”
Before Tyler, 34, and Ashley, 33, headed down the aisle during Love Is Blind season 7, he informed his future wife that he was a “sperm donor” to a “couple he knew” and fathered three of their kids. Further along in the conversation, Tyler claimed he spent his last Christmas [2022] solo, leading Bri Thomas, the mother of Tyler’s kids, to break her silence and slam Tyler’s narrative.
“We can start with the smallest lie regarding my ‘uninvolved’ children’s father. ‘I spent Christmas last year alone, cooking greens….’ Tyler did not spend Christmas ‘22 alone,” Bri said via Instagram Stories on October 8, 2024. “He spent it at his mom’s with family, that included the oldest, Kyreaux.”
Shortly after, Life & Style exclusively reported that Bri legally had Tyler’s last name removed from their eldest son and twin daughters’ monikers, replacing it with her maiden last name.
Ashley, who tied the knot with Tyler during the Love Is Blind season 7 finale, stood by Tyler’s side when they addressed the paternity scandal during the reunion. She went into further detail about the drama during the November 6, 2024, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast.
During the episode, Ashley revealed that after Tyler made his parenthood confession, he wanted to table the conversation until after the cameras dropped when filming ended. However, the idea didn’t fly with her.

“I was like, ‘There’s no way I can continue with this experiment if we don’t talk about this in some capacity because I’ve been giddy the entire time and if my energy is this low right now, the viewers are going to see it,’” Ashley reflected at the time. “I asked him, ‘If I were to sit down with your ex right now or flings or people you dated, what would they say about you?’ Because for two reasons: one, I wanna see if I can see remnants of that behavior and begin to look for it — not that I’m searching for it, but just to begin to pay attention. And two, I wanna see how you’re gonna answer because it’s a red flag when men blame everything on a woman.”
She also noted that Tyler claimed his kids looked at him as an “uncle,” since Bri was in a longtime relationship with her then-partner.
In January, Ashley announced she and Tyler made the “difficult decision” to end their marriage.
“This was not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace,” she told People at the time. “While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
