Lauren didn’t live the single life for very long before becoming official with Chris! Her husband Charles filed for divorce on January 23, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to court docs obtained by Life & Style.

That was just four days before she stepped out at the SAGs, shocking fans by revealing that she’s dating the Bachelor host.

But It’s Not What It Seems
While that might sound like a super quick switcheroo, the docs also reveal that Lauren and Charles have been separated since March 2018, so Lauren was actually single for almost a year.

Making It Official
It’s unclear if Lauren’s relationship with Chris is the reason her husband finally bit the bullet and filed, but it definitely freed her up to express her love, like when she posted a photo with Chris on Instagram and captioned it with a heart.

It’s also unclear what exactly ended the relationship. The couple was together for almost four years before separating last year.
