#FBF!Liam Payne Shares Throwback Photo of One Direction and Fans Are Living: ‘A Lot Has Changed’
It looks like Liam Payne is feeling nostalgic. The former boyband member, 25, shared a photo of One Direction at the 2012 BRIT Awards, making us wish they would reunite already.
The photos consist of all five members holding their very first BRIT Award, which they won for “What Makes You Beautiful” in the Best British Single category. “Wow. 7 years since we won our first BRIT!” he wrote on Instagram. “Lots has changed but like family you guys have come with us all on our individual journeys. It’s a dream to have you in our lives and an honour to be part of yours. Can we win another ?!! #1D Vote using #BRITVIDLIAMRITA on Twitter.” While we would love to see 1D win another award, Liam is actually referring to himself. He’s currently nominated for British Artist Video of the Year thanks to his collaboration with Rita Ora for their 50 Shades Freed single, “For You.”
Nice move, Liam! After posting this throwback, fans were more keen on voting for him. “Yeah!! Let’s vote all please! We have to make Liam win!! Everyone please do it for Liam!” someone wrote. “You will definitely win a BRIT again. #BRITVIDLIAMRITA. And as for One Direction, it is an [sic] non-erasable memory,” another Directioner added. We’re all in our feels now.
It’s quite unlikely the boys will reunite to make music anytime soon, but you can never rule out a friendly gathering. Every so often, the boys run into each other, making fans ecstatic. In October 2018, Liam posted a pic with Louis Tomlinson.
The two came together for the show that launched their careers — X Factor. “Was a pleasure to join my brother @louist91 for his judges house auditions, and of course the legend that is @nilerodgers. Good luck to all of the contestants, I really enjoyed meeting you all and hearing you sing,” he wrote. Crossing our fingers something like this happens with all five of the members!
