‘From Hot to Not’ Star Mama June Channels One of Hollywood’s Most Iconic Stars — Marilyn Monroe!
Hot mama! Mama June Shannon recently recreated Marilyn Monroe‘s look from the 1955 film, The Seven Year Itch, and she totally rocked it! The From Not to Hot star donned the iconic actress’ plunging white halter dress and curled her blonde hair into a retro ‘do. The mom of four — who recently dropped more than 150 pounds — perfectly fit into the sexy dress, which was about a size four.
“Just 11 months ago, I weighed 352 pounds and I never thought this weight loss would be possible,” June said of her weight loss last year. “It’s been a long road through all these three surgeries, struggling with my emotional eating, these intense workouts, a dress I thought I would never be able to fit into, dealing with my ex’s fiancée/soon-to-be Alana’s stepmom, and all the while I’m trying to stay healthy and good for my kids.”
June, who initially started this weight loss journey as a way to make former hubby Sugar Bear jealous on his wedding day, underwent gastric bypass and skin removal surgeries as well as multiple plastic surgery procedures, including a tummy tuck and breast lift. “I worked my a– off working out, eating healthy, and now it’s like everything’s coming full circle,” she said. “I’m becoming the person on the outside that I felt I was like on the inside, it’s kind of crazy.”
The 38-year-old previously explained to Life & Style how her diet has changed since committing to healthier habits. “I just watch my portions and cut back on a lot of the carbs. The one thing that I cannot live without is my grapes and cheese,” she admitted. Amen, girl!
