Mariah Carey and Boyfriend Bryan Tanaka Are All Smiles While Holding Hands in L.A.

Going strong! Mariah Carey and her handsome boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka, were spotted looking oh-so-in-love while stepping out in L.A. on Tuesday, September 17. The longtime couple was all smiles as they posed for cameras and held hands. 

Now, as much as we love all celebrity couple PDA moments, these photos of Mariah, 49, and Bryan, 36, are especially exciting. After all, despite being together (on and off) for nearly three years, the “Obsessed” songstress and professional dancer rarely acknowledge their relationship. 

In fact, Mariah hasn’t shared a single Instagram post about her man all year! Sigh. Thankfully, Bryan gave fans of their courtship a sweet selfie of the pair on August 22, along with a simple heart emoji as the caption. It’s not much, but we’ll take it! 

Of course, just because Mariah and Bryan are constantly gushing over each other, doesn’t mean they don’t have a strong foundation — they’re just low-key people. “I don’t really talk about my personal life,” Mariah told the Associated Press during a February 2017 interview. “Because that’s what I used to do and it really worked for a minute back, a while ago. I just don’t feel comfortable talking about my personal life … me and my boyfriend don’t want to do that.”

Fair enough, girl! While Mariah keeps her romance with Bryan out of the limelight, he’s still very much apart of her children’s lives. Bryan, Mariah and her kids — she shares 8-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon — went on a family vacation to St. Barts in January. The dynamic foursome had the best time playing in the water and posing for cute photos!

The best part? There’s no animosity with Nick. In fact, the TV host, 38, says he and Mariah are the picture-perfect coparents — regardless of who the other is dating. “We got our egos and this selfish behavior [but] when you put your children first, you understand that it’s all unconditional love. All that other stuff just falls apart,” Nick told Us Weekly in April.

To all the blended families out there, that’s how it’s done!
